Disastrous Album Pressing

The album's fantastic, but the pressing is a total disaster, like a D- on a test. Steer clear of it, it's absolutely terrible. Stick to enjoying the awesome music digitally until they fix it and re-release it.
Mid-Range Dynamics Lacking

I haven't experienced the vocal distortion that some have mentioned, but there's definitely a lack of dynamics in the mid-range, and it can sound a bit clogged. The vocals and bass seem fine to me, but the guitars and drums are a bit buried and tend to clash. Mine was pressed at United and has that usual surface noise to back it up.

Side one's sound quality is terrible. The singing is all messed up and hard to understand. It's really disappointing that no other company has pressed this so I could try buying it again and maybe get a better version. If I do buy another copy, I'll probably just end up with the same issues unless I get super lucky. I'm not sure I want to spend more money to give it another shot. It's really upsetting because this is one of my favorite albums by BCB.
Avoid This Dreadful Sound

Terrible, just terrible. Give this one a wide berth…it’s a real disservice to the artist….the sound quality is dreadful….like you’re hearing the record through a trash can lined with aluminum foil.
Muddy but Favorite Brandi Album

I'm genuinely wishing this one gets reprinted shortly. Like others have mentioned, it's quite muddy, and Brandi's voice comes across as somewhat muffled. Such a bummer, considering this is hands-down my top Brandi Carlile record.
