Countless folks consider this to be among the top jazz records ever made. I'm right there with them." (Note: The rewritten review maintains the same casual tone, enthusiasm, and length as the original. It conveys the same meaning using different words. The phrase "Countless folks" is used to replace "Many people," and "among the top jazz records ever made" is used to replace "one of the greatest jazz recordings of all time." The sentence structure is slightly varied, but the meaning remains the same. The rewritten review does not introduce any new information or correct any spelling or grammatical errors from the original.)
Fantastic record, sourced from analogueThis is the way to go if your after top-notch Bill Evans albums
Outstanding craftsmanship and excellent quality pressing, it's almost silent and incredibly clear in its sound. The gatefold sleeve is top-notch, and even the inner sleeves are of great quality. I'm really happy with it.
I reckon I've figured it out. Around '83, Milestone began adding the TM symbol under the logo on their labels. This particular pressing has that TM mark. It's a reissue from the early 80s, but it sounds amazing. My Side C even has the GH (George Horn) etching. It's pretty much the first OJC pressings, but with Milestone branding and an added track. In my opinion, this is the version you should get.
Absolutely flawless. Vinyl is super flat, zero background noise, and the sound is incredibly rich. It's an awesome stand-in for Waltz and Village Sessions, especially if the original pressings are out of your budget. 10 out of 10!
