Lacks in bass, can't pick up the initial hits, drums sound off. Never listened to the 1983 version, but the 2015 vinyl reissue packs more punch and energy.
Alas, the master isn't flawless. The drums are way too far back. The guitar takes center stage, followed by the bass, and then the drums. It's awesome to hear the guitar in such detail, but I still crave more. The second side is more engaging, but it's still not quite there (4/5) К сожалению, мастер не идеален. Had I checked this release on Discogs prior to purchasing it sealed from a record shop, I might have been wiser. It features the US tracklist altered by Mercury, despite the back cover showcasing the original list. The sound quality is decent, though, so I can't gripe about this release TOO much. Five-star album, four-star release.
