this one's got that gentle hum you'd find on colored vinyl. The bass to treble range is crisp, rich, strong, and right up front. Truly amazing sound!! I'm so happy I grabbed one when they first came out!
I'll second what the last person said. Vinyl that's colored is getting better at being quiet, and it really brings out the music. Even with just a 2.3 w/ch SET integrated amp, the bass is incredibly powerful. Plus, the mids and highs are so clear, they're almost like a demo. This has always been a fantastic recording, so I'm really happy to have such a great version on vinyl.
Purchased it brand new, awful surface noise. I scrubbed it by hand⦠still loud. My buddy tried an ultrasonic cleaner⦠improved but still REALLY noisy. At least it was priced way low.
Truly fantastic pressing of this legendary music by the amazing Thomas Newman. Such a bummer it was so limited, let's hope they'll do a repress so more folks can enjoy it.
Absolutely flawless for me, no pops, no clicks, no hiss...
