Quite a bit of skipping and static. Gonna try cleanin' it again and see if that helps.
The mastering on this record is truly outstanding, just as you'd anticipate with BG (Bernie Grundman) handling it. However, the pressing isn't quite up to par — there are a few distracting pops and clicks, and my copy has a minor edge warp. That said, even with these flaws, it's more than just listenable — it's incredibly enjoyable, thanks to the superb mastering work. Wow, this is a fantastic pressing, picture disc or not!
Is it just me who dislikes this pressing? The bass sounds lifeless and there's an excessive amount of surface noise. To be honest, this is the second worst vinyl in my collection. Perhaps I just have a faulty copy. Either way, this release should've been spread across 2XLP's instead of one, and the audio quality is suffering because of it.
Great pressing overall. I believe my runout might be a bit different (01010224/01020212) but apart from that, it's the same thing
