Incredible, a wild take on Fire And Rain; the sound stage is incredibly wide and immerses you in the music which spans from jazz, classical to experimental and funk. I'd say the song selection is intriguing but it doesn't flow smoothly as an album to me, the performances are phenomenal so it's definitely worth owning especially at a great price. This album will feel familiar to Bob James fans as he collaborates with Hubert Laws on his records too. This album is top-notch in performances and sound and you can grab it for under $5 so just add it to your collection before they notice it's undervalued.
