I managed to snag this record for just $6. I'd been on the hunt for the album featuring her take on LZ's "Whole Lotta Love" (which is also on the Cruella soundtrack), and this Acid Queen was the one! Then, a couple of days later, I stumbled upon this authentic First US pressing! It plays with a few pops and crackles but still sounds fantastic. The vinyl labels are in excellent contion. The cover is in decent shape with some ring and seam wear. I'm thrilled to have this in my collection as it was Tina's first solo soul/funk album and every track is a banger!

Four words sum it up: "Electric Rock'n Roll"! On my copy (the French cassette re-release), it's all flawless: the blend, the score, the setup, the playing + obviously, Tina Turner's amazing Voice. Crank up the sound, and you'll bring the heat to your spot.
This version is a real blast! A top-notch pressing that really pulls you in and holds your attention. Best enjoyed at high volume. Only minor gripe might be wishing the guitars were a tad louder and more prominent.
