I can't fathom the effort the mixer and master put into this electronica album. The vinyl experience was truly unique. I've never heard such deep, rich bass that you can crank up to the max without any clipping or distortion. Want to "boom" "BOOM" your house or the whole neighborhood? This is the one. You want your house's frame to shake and the wood to bend? This is it. That keyboard or whatever it is, it pierces your soul in every direction. That first 30 seconds of "Sofi Needs a Ladder"? You just know you're in for a journey. This is a must-have. Grab it as soon as you can.
DJFrodo seems totally lost here. This album isn't even in the same ballpark as Justice's stuff. But hey, it's an incredible album! Just give it a spin.
This album has its moments, but the dubstep bits really bring it down. I'm not a fan of the songs with loads of singing (Sofi Needs a Ladder, Raise your Weapon, One Trick Pony) - they're not for me. I wish I could love it more, 'cause there's some brilliant tracks here (Some Chords, Animal Rights, I Said), but truth be told, I just don't enjoy listening to it.
