It seems this record has been pressed again and can be found here: https://www.newburycomics.com/products/j_cole-4_your_eyez_only_lp?variant=38584405068. Can anyone tell me if this new pressing is different from the first one?
This album's a tad more subdued than Cole's earlier works, but I reckon that's the vibe he aimed for. The first and final track kick off and wrap up with a tiny *Click*, like a tape player's in use. Pressing play, it sounds pretty solid, but yeah, it's on the quieter side. A classic Cole record, still feels fresh after 4 years.
The sound quality is crisp and the mixing is top-notch. I'm really enjoying this album.
I've got one, and it works just fine.
The cover is not the same. I purchased this play close to when it came out. It's a bit quite but still one of my all-time favorites.
