I'd love if it had some marbling to give it a more captivating look, that's the only thing I'd change!
this album is soooo overrated but the cover art is a laugh riot. SERIOUSLY, don't waste your cash on those crazy inflated prices imusic.dk has it for just 35 bucks
In my view, this album isn't as terrible as many music critics seem to think. Alright, maybe the production feels a bit old-fashioned now, and the lyrics might be a tad simple, but consider an album that's completely unlistenable... This one is nowhere near that level! In fact, if we could somehow send it to, say, 2016, it might have even been a hit for her! So much has shifted since then, both socially and politically, and I reckon that's why this album has flopped and is getting such harsh criticism. And, of course, Katy deciding to take a step back from the spotlight. But all in all, this album is still enjoyable, and I'd even go as far as to say it's achieved that "guilty pleasure" status! Yes, I went there!
KP's album is absolutely flawless, and it's deepened my adoration for her. It's an all-out, classic bathhouse soundtrack. My first time hearing it was during my drive to a Seattle bathhouse. Initially, I was a bit puzzled by it, but I admired the non-stop medley style and the excellent mixing. After spending some time in that bathhouse, I popped the CD back in during my ride to the diner post my escapade. Everything clicked. She aimed to create an album for the LGBTQ+ community, to be carefree (poppers), cut loose, and embrace life unapologetically. She nailed it. That's why I'm thrilled she hasn't strayed from the original promotional material for this LP and hasn't bothered to adjust the marketing. Kudos, KP!
It's utterly shameful that half a year post-purchase, the autographed art cards haven't even been dispatched yet, let alone reached Europe. Utterly humiliating and so disheartening from Katy and her crew.
